RE:Where are people riding!!!!!!!

Kim and I just got back from a killer weekend in Bend.  Went to Edison Sno park with Randy and Sandra Bolin, their son Johnathon and a few friends.  Had a blast riding in blue skies and 50' temps.  Lot's of snow to ride on.  Went back country and trail riding.  Ended up going out a second time to Elk Lake Lodge for dinner.  Would highly recommend doing that!  Night ride back was stellar too.

Randy is the ultimate guide, a head full of knowledge, funny stories and is the McGiver of snowmobiling!

No real mis-haps this weekend except that Sandra's left ski came off on the trail for no apparent reason.  But never fear... Randy "McGiver" Bolin pulled a bolt out of the ski tip handle and had it back in operation in a few minutes.

Drove to Meadows yesterday.  Could ride out of either White River (18")  or B Pass (2'+).

Good Luck.

RE:Where are people riding!!!!!!!

We rode out of Skyline a couple weeks ago.  It was bleak.  Bare road around Timothy and rough riding.  Up towards high-rock was nice, but the ride in and out was tough.  I tweaked a ski on a stump in the snowpark getting lined up for the trailer, and the wife had a little encounter with the mud pit at the trail head while trying to side hill around it:)

Been driving back and forth to Meadows, and White River / Bennent Pass have seen sled tracks.  Bennent can be fun, but is not a great family / beginner ride due to some of the terrain.  White River offers a great blast down a paved forest road toward Rock-Creek, and you can get into the backside of the Frog lake system; but there is not a lot to do, and no real loop possibilities.

We've riden twice this year.  Once was in late November at Paulina.  Been a rough year for the Mountain.

Cheers.
